1. Who we are & what these terms cover
FitCheck (the "Service") is an outfit-rating web app operated by Axion AI, an individual (sole proprietor) based in the province of Québec, Canada. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you and the operator. By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The Service
FitCheck lets you upload a photo of your outfit and receive an AI-generated rating, written feedback, and style suggestions. Paid plans unlock additional features (detailed critique, personalized style profile, closet scan, progress tracking, etc.).
The score and feedback are indicative and subjective opinions only. They are produced by an automated model, are not professional advice, and should not be treated as an absolute truth. You remain solely responsible for your styling and purchasing decisions.
3. Eligibility & your account
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. Some features require an account created with a valid email address. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
4. Plans, billing & trial
- Free — a demo score, no payment, no commitment.
- Essential and Premium — paid plans at the prices shown on the Pricing page.
- Billing cycles — weekly, monthly or yearly, as selected at checkout.
- 3-day free trial — paid plans may include a 3-day free trial. A payment method is requested at sign-up, but nothing is charged before the trial ends.
- Automatic renewal — after the trial (if any), your plan renews automatically at the end of each cycle at the then-current price, until you cancel.
- Cancel anytime, in 1 click — you can cancel from your account at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the period already paid.
- Payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We never store or have access to your full card details.
Refunds
You can avoid any charge by cancelling before the trial ends. After a renewal charge, the current period is generally non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable consumer-protection law or granted at our discretion. To request a refund, contact support@axion-ai.fr.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload illegal, hateful, sexual, or otherwise harmful content;
- upload photos of other people, or of minors, without their (or their guardian's) consent;
- infringe anyone's rights, or misuse the Service for fraudulent or unauthorized commercial purposes;
- attempt to bypass security measures, plan limits, or reverse-engineer the Service.
6. Your content & intellectual property
You keep ownership of the photos you upload. You grant the operator a limited, revocable license to process and display your photos solely to provide the Service to you (e.g. analysis, storing your history). Your photos are private by default and visible only to you; a result card is shared only if you choose to share it. The FitCheck name, interface, and code remain the operator's property.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We make reasonable efforts to keep it available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. AI feedback is an automated estimate and may be inaccurate.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, nor for styling or purchasing decisions you make based on the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify the Service or these Terms. We will notify you of material changes by reasonable means. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the province of Québec and the laws of Canadaapplicable therein. We will try to resolve any dispute amicably first; failing that, disputes are subject to the competent courts of Québec, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have where you live.
